Spring Pools
These pools that, though in forests, still reflect
The total sky almost without defect,
And like the flowers beside them, chill and shiver,
Will like the flowers beside them soon be gone,
And yet not out by any brook or river,
But up by roots to bring dark foliage on.
The trees that have it in their pent-up buds
To darken nature and be summer woods –
Let them think twice before they use their powers
To blot out and drink up and sweep away
These flowery waters and these watery flowers
From snow that melted only yesterday.
– Robert Frost

Flower God, God of Spring
Flower god, god of the spring, beautiful, bountiful,
Cold-dyed shield in the sky, lover of versicles,
Here I wander in April
Cold, grey-headed; and still to my
Heart, Spring comes with a bound, Spring the deliverer,
Spring, song-leader in woods, chorally resonant;
Spring, flower-planter in meadows,
Child-conductor in willowy
Fields deep dotted with bloom, daisies and crocuses:
Here that child from his heart drinks of eternity:
O child, happy are children!
She still smiles on their innocence,
She, dear mother in God, fostering violets,
Fills earth full of her scents, voices and violins:
Thus one cunning in music
Wakes old chords in the memory:
Thus fair earth in the Spring leads her performances.
One more touch of the bow, smell of the virginal
Green – one more, and my bosom
Feels new life with an ecstasy.
Robert Louis Stevenson

Spring Begins
Spring!
White magnolia blossoms
Have already fallen,
Withered,
Littering the lawns.
April’s Daffodils, Irises,
And crocuses,
All the towns focus.
It was covered in snow.
Soft winds blowing,
The smell of growing
Following a sought after rain.
Robin searching
For worms they’re lurching.
While butterflies
Drink from flowers
Now wet from showers.
Grass is greening,
Birds are preening
Trees in bud
Cows gently chew cud.
Sheep bleating
New lambs greeting
Children flying kites,
Running to make flight.
Spring time events,
Smell new scents.
Renewal time
Making our lives sublime.

A Garden In Spring
A hillside garden in the evening gloom,
the wild white hawthorn in flower –
the man in the picture prays,
“Be my crown in the rattling hour,
let my life in the tomb
arise,
as the wild white thorn bud bursts into bloom.”

Promising Spring
Mystery lay within the blooms of May,
As it stirs in bare boned branches.
Let cattle roam a world from home,
But know they’d be just as happy at the ranch.
Take me away upon your wings
Beseech to me a song to sing
To relieve the aching Reality brings
So merrily in her stride.
Promising spring, Our Virgin Mother
Grows in blooming as the green man swoons
The presence of the wood nymphs sets his heart alight,
As he joins in dancing the first dance of life into the world a new.

Spring Into Spring
Sun is raising slowly in the east
The dew forming on the lawn
The sounds of birds waking up
Chirping to a new day
The smell of spring in the air
The last of the winter snow melting
Temperature rising, Warmth everywhere
Opening windows to let the fresh air in
Nature blossoming early
Flowers stretching out
Kids getting their bikes ready
To ride them to school, proudly
No more winter coats
No freezing temps
April rains bring the may flowers
Playgrounds coming to life
Moms and babies strolling down the street
Convertibles with the tops down
Signs of spring are everywhere
The coats are gone, shorts are on
Tank tops to summer dresses
Spring in the air
Love for the season is full
Bring on the season of growth
Spring into summer with joy
It’s the most loving of them all
New life, new times
Brings us back to life
Spring it forward, bring the heat
Winter’s gone, no more snow
Just the green of spring
For us to enjoy, one and all

Visions Of Spring
Honey blossom and apple trees
Daffodils and bumble bees
Tulips in bloom, lambs are born
Dew drops on grass in the early morn
Maypole ribbon and painted eggs
New born fowls with their wobbly legs
Chicklets hatching, bunnies jumping
These are my favorite visions of spring

Spring Awakening
Spring Awakening
It is nice to see you again
Finally you are back after a hard winter
It is too bad that you don’t stick around much longer because when Summer comes you are gone again for another year that is long
I am always sad wen you go away to sleep for another year
Spring awakening
The sun shines in my face
You warmth I love
I also love the sunsets at the end of the day
When I arrive home I can smell the smell of the flowers from my Driveway
I can’t bug you to stay because you belong to mother nature
Mother Nature has a special way to do things for the people here on Earth
Spring Awakening
The days are longer and beautiful

Spring Spring Come
Spring spring come
Full of growth and song
Your bright blossom
Is what my eyes long
Spring spring give
Growth and all new life
So again we live
After winter strife
Spring spring oh love
Everything is glowing
Blue heavens above
Every gray is going
Spring spring oh dream
Flowers in young
Fairytale it seem
As we love and long
Spring spring oh dear
Now you are coming
For May is near
With fairest blooming
Spring spring days
And fragrance in air
Colorful are your ways
I love to have you here

A Light Exists In Spring
A light exists in spring
Not present on the year
At any other period.
When March is scarcely here
A color stands abroad
On solitary hills
That science cannot overtake,
But human naturefeels.
It waits upon the lawn;
It shows the furthest tree
Upon the furthest slope we know;
It almost speaks to me.
Then, as horizons step,
Or noons report away,
Without the formula of sound,
It passes, and we stay:
A quality of loss
Affecting our content,
As trade had suddenly encroached
Upon a sacrament.
– Emily Dickinson
